The Voice Season 7 Overall Conclusion PART 2

So here's the second part of the so called review. The Voice Season 8 is coming very soon so I have to finish this review ASAP haha. Alright so let's proceed to the Knock Out rounds. I was very shocked and excited to know that the first pairing is between Sugar Joans and Bryana Salaz. Amazing opening I must say (I might be a little bit bias :P ) So Bryana Salaz opens the Knock Out rounds with her rendition of Demi Lovato's Heart Attack. Honesty speaking, she somehow resembles Demi Lovato during this round which is another plus for her performance. Her bridge part managed to caught Adam's attention too while Gwen seemed to be proud and continuously clapping when she sang the high notes of the song. I was pretty sure Bryana is going to win.

BUT. Then comes Sugar Joans. She came and performed Beyonce's Love On Top. Oh my gosh, she was really good. Her growling and hitting those very high notes flawlessly totally changed my mind about this battle's winner. She changed keys like Beyonce too which was amazing. So now, I am assured that Sugar will win despite Bryana's great performance. However, Gwen chose Bryana over Sugar which I am still very happy. I know she decided to pick Bryana because Pharell wants Sugar so badly until he said that he will steal Sugar if she lost the round. So both are saved. A win win situation for me :D

Here is Bryana Salaz's Heart Attack

Sugar Joans' Love On Top

After this performance, I found another contestant that is actually quite decent. He is Ricky Manning. His version of Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball is a total knockout. He lost during his battle round but Gwen quickly snatched him.

Mia Pfirrman also won her round by defeating the same person that wins Joe Kirk ! A sweet revenge of my favourites eh ? :P She belted Human by Christina Perri perfectly and certaintly caught Adam's attention until he wishes to advance Mia to the Live PlayOffs

Ryan Sill won over Beth Spangler. Beth actually lost to Mia during the Battle Rounds and Gwen stole her. Both had 4 chair turns during the auditions. Jean Kelley's Chandelier and Anita Antoinette's Rude are worth mentioning. So the next round is the Live PlayOffs where each coach needs to further reduce their team members to 3 candidates out of the current 5 people. The 3 candidates are chosen via public voting (2 people) and the coach's choice (1). So the first day was the decision day for Blake's and Adam's team members. This round, Mia Pfirrman was eliminated. Her soulful performance of Lana Del Rey's Young and Beautiful is not enough for her to advance to the subsequent stages. For me, her performance was pretty much solid but this season, Adam's team showcases high quality delegates and she's eliminated. Adam personally chose Chris Jamison that sang Ed Sheeran's Don't.

Chris Jamison's Don't is Adam's pick for this Live Playoffs

So the next day is all about Gwen's and Pharell's team members. Pharell decided to advance Sugar Joans after she does not have the top 2 highest votes. She sang Aretha Franklin's I Say A Little Prayer. This was her best performance on this entire show I think. The fact that I don't listen to old song and she made me watch her performance multiple times is very formidable. Jean Kelley got eliminated on this round too. Next is Gwen Stefani's team. Taylor John William and Anita Antoinette garnered the highest votes and advanced. Anita performed the very famous Meghan Trainor's All About The Bass. Her version was a pretty cool one. Has some jazzy feel on it. Gwen chose to advance Ryan Sill. Ryan sang I Lived by One Republic. His performance was decent and I will still choose Bryana Salaz over him. Bryana Salaz was eliminated on this round. She sang 5SOS's Amnesia. Her performance made me cry on the inside. It was so emotionally powerful. I really hope Gwen would advance her but meh. The fact that Gwen has personal likings on Ryan Sill since the earlier episodes baffled me too. But whatever. Bye bye Bryana *cries*

So next I shall blog about the subsequent stages and not so much about the finale because I missed it ahahaha. Till next time !
