Heya, I'm back again. Do you know how long I'd wish that this holiday would come ? and do you want to know why ? because I don't have to bring notes, books, or at least have some guilt not reading them ! Amazing huh. Results coming out in two weeks but I must say the amount that we need to study for this last semester of the pre-clinical years is quite handful. Like literally a lot. GIT and Neuroscience have thrice the amount of notes compared to Semester 2's Human Genetics. Thrice. Imagine that we need to read about 30 lecture notes from GIT and also Neuroscience. Furthermore, you should check out the anatomy part. Almost half of the module. I don't know how people can study anatomy in such a short amount of time. Well partially it is my fault because I don't study as early as other med students. But hey, this is the only time you'll get some life. Somehow I managed not to fail any of this semester's end of module exam. I got B, B, B and A- for all the modules. I am proud of my achievement this semester haha. Although it is not as good as last semester but you need to pass only right :P
So what I did during this whole sem. Let's see. I joined this semester's BBA organization as one of the exco akademik persiap. Last semester's batch leader actually offered me the same job but somehow kicked me out because he had too many members LOL. Whatever. I volunteered to be a member, and I came back stronger hahaha. They decided to elect me as the leader of exco akademik but actually all exco persiap before this do not have any leader, so the leader status is non functional and I don't even claim myself to be a leader for the group. Kahkah. So I was in changed to handle the timetable. Our timetable is prone to changes either due to the lecturer's last minute change or us, students own convenient. Also, we need to handle resit classes for the ones who failed sem 3 and sem 4 modules. Medical life is just scary man. So, that's it for now. Till then ~ cos I'm sleepy lol

Last semester of my Pre-Clinical Year !!
YEAHH. A month left until I end my second year life as a medical student. This semester seems to be quite fast for me. I have no idea why haha. I have another 3 weeks until our last end of module exam : reproductive module and a week long to study for the finale. I must say, GIT and Neuroscience modules are quite tough for me. They are A LOT. I can say that it is impossible for me to remember every single point from each slides. GIT and Neuro both contain more than 25 lecture notes and trust me, when I started reading the 15th note, the memory of the first lecture note will gradually disappear. During GIT, I didn't focus on the latter notes especially the liver diseases. Can't remember any histological features of some liver neoplams like hepatocellularcarcinoma. Endocrine module came after GIT. Some seniors told us that this module is known as the "honeymoon" module, probably due to the free time available during the 3 weeks span for this module. The lecture notes were quite straightforward too but I somehow did not manage to do so well ( in fact, most of us did not do that well).
I wished I could use my study week to study CNS and GIT but meh, I need to study endocrine too. I felt like the amount of notes in endocrine is as half as much as in CNS and GIT. CNS on the other hand, is the craziest, hardest, most complicated, difficult to understand, full with weird names and terminologies and even drugs name are even difficult to pronounce. The results for the past CNS eom will be shown this monday. I have to say, I have mixed opinions on it. I think I can do the essay but somehow, I don't. The OBA and EMI questions were difficult and challenging. Makin banyak check, makin salah la pulak. Never mind. I did my best. Or not. Ugh. That's what killing me right now. Curse you olfactory signal transduction pathway. Curse you neck righting reflex. Curse you drug of abuse. Blergh. Okay, no mood to continue writing ahahaha. Till next time

The Voice Season 7 Overall Conclusion PART 3
Hey, this is the last part of the review. So I will focus on some performances that are quite good in my very opinion of course. Starting from the Top 12 till the finale. First and foremost in the Top 12, the best performance, hands down, also the most probable reason that the original song climbed up on the itunes chart, is Matt McAndrew's Take Me To Church. His performance was the winner of the night and I won't be surprised at all if he wins this 7th Season of The Voice.
I actually managed to see Matt's audition performance. He sang Christina Perri's A Thousand Years. The reason he did not caught my attention was his audition performance was somehow lackluster. Probably he chose the wrong song eh. Whatever it is, he managed to get 3 chairs turned. The end of this round marks the end of Sugar Joans' journey on The Voice as she was eliminated.
The quaterfinals round actually show some excellent performances. Damien's Someone Like You and Taylor John Williams' Royals managed to sneak among the Top 10 songs on the itunes chart where both of their votes received multipliers. Cool eh.
Damien singing Adele's Someone Like You
Taylor John William's unique twist on Lorde's Royals
After this round, the semifinals round came in. 5 contestants sang two songs each. This round is probably the most exciting as the contestant's song choices are magnificent ! Adam Levine's has all three of his team members on the semifinals. Amazing achievement for Adam. First was Chris Jamison. I never knew he could use his falsetto so well. More like abusing his falsetto this round. Very much worth it as both of his songs entered the itunes chart top 10. He sang Bruno Mars' When I Was Your Man and Maroon 5's Sugar. Nice picks right ?
When I Was Your Man ! That falsetto argh.
Another sweet cover from Chris Jamison. Sugar !
Gwen Stefani's sole team member which is Taylor John Williams decided to sing Blank Space. A weird pick. Unfortunately, it doesn't work as well as Royals.
Up next comes the surprising Wild Card round. The ones that has been eliminated since the Top 12 has another chance to compete back and get the 4th finale spot. Sugar Joans has always been my fav haha. She sang Amy Winehouse's Back To Black.
Purple is the new black eh for Sugar. Haha
So the finale came up next. Matt proves himself to be a decent contender and managed to get the 2nd place spot. The winner of The Voice Season 7 is Craig Wayne Boyd !! Which I don't actually put any of his pictures or videos in this review AHAHAHAHA. Okay la. He is a very good singer. Country. I dislike the genre so pardon me from being bias because this whole review is meant to suit my opinions. No hard feelings. Okay la, lemme show his victory face smiling there.
Congrats Craig Wayne Boyd and Blake Shelton !!!
So, hopefully, I'm able to watch the Season 8 of The Voice and make another review like this haha. Bye2 !

The Voice Season 7 Overall Conclusion PART 2
So here's the second part of the so called review. The Voice Season 8 is coming very soon so I have to finish this review ASAP haha. Alright so let's proceed to the Knock Out rounds. I was very shocked and excited to know that the first pairing is between Sugar Joans and Bryana Salaz. Amazing opening I must say (I might be a little bit bias :P ) So Bryana Salaz opens the Knock Out rounds with her rendition of Demi Lovato's Heart Attack. Honesty speaking, she somehow resembles Demi Lovato during this round which is another plus for her performance. Her bridge part managed to caught Adam's attention too while Gwen seemed to be proud and continuously clapping when she sang the high notes of the song. I was pretty sure Bryana is going to win.
BUT. Then comes Sugar Joans. She came and performed Beyonce's Love On Top. Oh my gosh, she was really good. Her growling and hitting those very high notes flawlessly totally changed my mind about this battle's winner. She changed keys like Beyonce too which was amazing. So now, I am assured that Sugar will win despite Bryana's great performance. However, Gwen chose Bryana over Sugar which I am still very happy. I know she decided to pick Bryana because Pharell wants Sugar so badly until he said that he will steal Sugar if she lost the round. So both are saved. A win win situation for me :D
The famous All About The Bass covered by Anita Antoinette
Ryan Sill singing One Republic's I Lived
Bryana's powerfully emotional performance of Amnesia by 5SOS
So next I shall blog about the subsequent stages and not so much about the finale because I missed it ahahaha. Till next time !

Sugar Joans' Love On Top
After this performance, I found another contestant that is actually quite decent. He is Ricky Manning. His version of Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball is a total knockout. He lost during his battle round but Gwen quickly snatched him.
Mia Pfirrman also won her round by defeating the same person that wins Joe Kirk ! A sweet revenge of my favourites eh ? :P She belted Human by Christina Perri perfectly and certaintly caught Adam's attention until he wishes to advance Mia to the Live PlayOffs
Ryan Sill won over Beth Spangler. Beth actually lost to Mia during the Battle Rounds and Gwen stole her. Both had 4 chair turns during the auditions. Jean Kelley's Chandelier and Anita Antoinette's Rude are worth mentioning. So the next round is the Live PlayOffs where each coach needs to further reduce their team members to 3 candidates out of the current 5 people. The 3 candidates are chosen via public voting (2 people) and the coach's choice (1). So the first day was the decision day for Blake's and Adam's team members. This round, Mia Pfirrman was eliminated. Her soulful performance of Lana Del Rey's Young and Beautiful is not enough for her to advance to the subsequent stages. For me, her performance was pretty much solid but this season, Adam's team showcases high quality delegates and she's eliminated. Adam personally chose Chris Jamison that sang Ed Sheeran's Don't.
Mia singing Young and Beautiful
Chris Jamison's Don't is Adam's pick for this Live Playoffs
So the next day is all about Gwen's and Pharell's team members. Pharell decided to advance Sugar Joans after she does not have the top 2 highest votes. She sang Aretha Franklin's I Say A Little Prayer. This was her best performance on this entire show I think. The fact that I don't listen to old song and she made me watch her performance multiple times is very formidable. Jean Kelley got eliminated on this round too. Next is Gwen Stefani's team. Taylor John William and Anita Antoinette garnered the highest votes and advanced. Anita performed the very famous Meghan Trainor's All About The Bass. Her version was a pretty cool one. Has some jazzy feel on it. Gwen chose to advance Ryan Sill. Ryan sang I Lived by One Republic. His performance was decent and I will still choose Bryana Salaz over him. Bryana Salaz was eliminated on this round. She sang 5SOS's Amnesia. Her performance made me cry on the inside. It was so emotionally powerful. I really hope Gwen would advance her but meh. The fact that Gwen has personal likings on Ryan Sill since the earlier episodes baffled me too. But whatever. Bye bye Bryana *cries*

The famous All About The Bass covered by Anita Antoinette
Ryan Sill singing One Republic's I Lived
Bryana's powerfully emotional performance of Amnesia by 5SOS

The Voice Season 7 Overall Conclusion PART 1
Finally I have the chance to write a review (cehhh) about The Voice Season 7. Not a professional review though. Just an opinion kind of thing. So I started following The Voice since Season 6 (hahaha, so much of a fan). The reason I started watching The Voice 6 was because of Christina Grimmie. I really adore her singing talent and of course that wicked belting skills argh.
(From her mind-blowing Dark Horse performance)
I actually know her before The Voice 6 because she was a youtuber and I heard some of her decent covers before. I'm not that into Youtube artists before this though. She finishes at third place and The Voice Season 6 winner is Josh Kaufman. Not a bad winner at all. His Set Fire To The Rain cover during the finals is just top notch. Okay, let's move on to The Voice Season 7.
So when the first advertisement about The Voice Season 7 came out, I was pretty excited because there is something that I can look forward to. Rooting some contestants till the end of their journey in The Voice is somehow exciting. Scrolling the wikipedia page and looking for tweets to see which contestants were eliminated and so forth. A thrilling experience I must say. So let's begin with the audition rounds. I was lucky during that time actually. I managed to see the full version of the audition rounds because I came back home almost every weekend during my semester 3 ehehe. The audition rounds were good actually and there are some contestant that caught my eyes after watching their audition performances. These are some of them :
The first one is Bryana Salaz. She sang Problem by Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea. The second one is Joe Kirk that performed Ed Sheeran's Lego House and last but not list, Mia Pfirrman's Unconditionally by Katy Perry. Their style and song choices are my taste so yeah, that's the main reason that these three people got my attention.
So after the audition rounds, comes the Battle Round. Here two contestants will be paired by their own respective coaches and there will be only one winner. The loser will either be eliminated or can be stolen by other coaches depending on their team slot availability. So during this round, sadly Joe Kirk was eliminated after singing Stay by Rihanna and Mikky Ekko. For some reasons, Adam Levine picked the other one instead of Joe. Even Christina Grimmie tweeted her disappointment and gave encouragements to Joe (I have the same taste as Christina eh ? :P) So Bryana and Mia managed to pass this round (with ease maybe ?) after winner their battle partners with Charli XCX's Boom Clap and Christina Aguilera's Turn To You respectively. Bryana is under Gwen's supervision while Mia is on Adam's team. So after this round, another contestant managed to caught my attention. Two actually. Both were good !
Sugar Joans is the winner but Jean is no slack either. Both were on Team Gwen and later episodes, both also went into Pharell's team weirdly haha. Another person from Team Gwen which is Ryan Sill that won his battle is quite good too.

Time Flies and Freezes
Time does flies and of course freezes depending on situations. Before this I wasn't even aware of how extreme can this changes be. For some reasons, both situations are indeed BAD. Inappropriate timing. When I want it to be fast, it will become so slow and vice versa. Sick of it. Let's talk about the freezing part first. As you all may know, when I first came to UKM lectures, this is when I started to feel this. 1 hour of lecture feels like 3-4 hours. Literally felt that way. Of course time flies faster if you on your iPad and TOS-ing the whole one hour, but NAH, you are going to miss the whole point of attending lectures. I rather sleep on my precious bed than wasting my time getting absolutely zero input. These lectures are very important.
Lecturer will somehow give tips and hints for the upcoming exams. Yeah, as a normal human being, when a lecturer sounds like a lullaby, skipping class is a formidable decision to make knowing that the subsequent lectures will be handled by the same lecturer. Anyways, that's for the frozen part. Then it comes to the FLYING part. This especially happens when you are at home. I hate this so much. I actually prefer the freezing part if I have to make a choice between freeze and fly. It is CRAZY. The first time I look at the time, it is 1pm la for example. After a "few minutes", the clock magically turns into 4pm. What kind of shit is this ahahaha. Being a medical student where you get limited amount of time to spend at home, this totally ruins my whole life :D My semester 3 break was only about 2-3 weeks. GONE GONE GONE.

Mood Swings
Hey people. This new entry is about fluctuating moods that I have since ages ago. aha. No this is not a medical journal that explains about mood swings but just my personal experience. I have seen many people with mood swings. For some reasons, these people are among my good friends. Out of the blue they can turn from a so-happy-I-could-die person to go-to-hell-i-am-not-talking-to-you-wtf guy. There is one of my good friend actually ignored me for 2 weeks due to this mood swing. I swear I haven't done anything wrong to him. He just feel like not having any conversations with me for weeks. Well, whatever la. That was my first reaction. But then, he decided to ignore me ONLY. He talks to other people as usual. You know how that feels like ? If I am a mindless person , I would have tie him, use a knife to skin him slowly starting from his smallest toe. Gah.
Maybe I should change this entry's topic to IGNORANCE. Never mind. Even right now, I have this one good friend (why the hell I am even friends with this kind of people ?!) that spends most of the time laughing and talking to me that tends to ignore me when he is not happy. 40% of the time maybe ? Yeah, and again, he will talk to others and ignores me with this putrid face. He is extremely nice when he is not on his mood swings but yeah vice versa too. I might need another friend that is not like that -.-
