Pre-Result Rants 3 - Mental preparations
Hey guys, it is 5am now here in Kampung Manjoi, Ipoh and I am extremely nervous and worried about what is going to happen in 12 hours time. I kept telling to myself that I have done my best. My best eh... I wish that "my best" is sufficient enough to pass all of my papers. To complicate things, am I sure enough that "my best" is actually the best that I can do ? Did I played too much last time and did not take things seriously like my other friends ? Should I deactivate my fb, instagram and twitter last time ? Should I have alienate myself ? I don't know really. The answer will be unveiled in 12 hours time. Stay tuned for my atrocious way of death.

Pre-Result Rants 2 - TAK NAK RESEAT
Ola peeps. I should warn you that the upcoming sentences perhaps are just to release my stress and do not take it seriously please as I don't mean to offend others. I am not insane yet and I'm perfectly under-controlled. Alright, here we go. It is like less than 2 days till my first year second semester results will be unveiled. And yeah, like most people, I am anxious and nervous. But unlike most people too, I take it seriously until I feel like I can go crazy and jump off KLCC or skin myself alive or I can even ingest some moth balls or all of what I stated.
Okay, that's too much I guess. But hey, this exam's result is going to be "life changing". My precious holidays are at stake here..... if I failed any of the paper, I will have to study during Hari Raya *sob3* and need to go back there and answer that paper. To make things worse, the reseat papers are rumored to be difficult. Oh what if I fail again ? Nothing much. Just need to repeat the whole year with my "juniors" as my classmates and they'll be like "Oh, this is the repeater". Okay fine, it might not sound that excruciating because you can plan properly this time. No more running away during anatomy practical (my bad =.=)
So erm, yeah. Currently, I should just hope that I only fail one paper because failing more than 2 would be deadly. Higher chance to repeat year. My goal now is to make myself somehow ready for the result. Not crying again this time. Not in front of your best friends Daaniyal. Okay, that's all for now. Adios.

Christina Grimmie !
Hey guys. For this entry, I would like to talk about an artist no other than the amazing The Voice Season 6 contestant that came in third place overall, Christina Grimmie !
Her performances in The Voice Season 6 were superb I must say. I don't care what other thinks about her but yeah, she sounds awesome to my ears and that's what matter the most for me. I have been repeating her performance songs non stop. I am not an expert or what, but I anyone can tell her vocal range is impressive. She could just win it all you know. Josh Kaufman is an excellent choice for a winner though. His Set Fire To The Rain performance rendered me speechless. But I'm here to talk about Grimmie. Haha. Here's my ranking from #12 to #1 for all her solo/duo performances throughout the 6th Season of The Voice.
#12 Hide and Seek.
#11 I Knew You Were Trouble
#10 Some Nights
#9 How To Love
#8 Apologize
#7 I Won't Give Up
#6 Can't Help Falling in Love
#5 Counting Stars
#4 Somebody That I Used To Know
#3 Dark Horse (Sentimental favourite ehehe :P )
#2 Hold On, We're Going Home
#1 Wrecking Ball

Pre-Result Rants 1
Hey ya. I don't know how to start this but... yeah, results coming out in 2 days time and yep, I am as good as dead. Year 1 of my medical student life is actually coming to a conclusion somehow. Or I should say hopefully. If I fail at least one paper, I need to reseat them after Hari Raya, around early August. If I failed at least one paper again, I am forced to restart back my life as a medical student back to square 1, year 1, with the new batch. This is very serious and a very cruel truth. You wasted 1 year of your time literally. It feels like you spent the past 365 days doing nothing despite the fact that you actually did lots of stuffs compared to the past 19 years of your life. Really.
I learnt a chunk of new stuffs more than what I did before. Pheochromocytoma ? Chloramphenicol ? Corynebacterium Diphtheriae ? One might need to read those words multiple times in order to pronounce it properly. The problem is, I did not only learn how to spell those words, I learnt their properties too. Did I enjoy learning all those medical terms ? Hell yeah I do. It was a lot of fun really until the exam comes. KO.
Needless to say, I only slept for 2 hours the day before each paper during the final exam of semester 2. I did not sleep at all the night before the all-important Musculoskeletal paper. Man, that paper was so tough. As hard as Infection & Immunity I must say. I was like 60-40 after the Musculoskeletal theory paper ends. 60% chance to pass while 40% to fail imo. So I thought yeah, I should get at least half correct for my practical paper in order to be somewhat "safe". For the Musculoskeletal Module paper, 50% is from the final exam theory paper, 20% is from the End of Module test results, 10% is from the group discussion marks, and the remaining 20% is from the practical paper. Okay, why I babble so much about this paper ? simple. Because I totally flopped my practical paper. GGWP. Only miracle can make me pass that paper, and I need that miracle so badly now !@#!$@^&. Okay, that's the paper that I am worried the most now. 2nd place would be Infection and Immunity.
All in all, my crucial holidays are at stake and unlike some of the medical students there, I care about my holidays. I have a very long list of activities and guess what, this is what that made me hesitant to choose whether I want to do medicine or not. Alright, that's all for now.

#NowPlaying - Tower of Saviors
Hey, it is me again. Lol. Today I would like to talk about a game that I play almost everyday since the past few months before which is called, the Tower of Saviors.
ToS is actually a very addictive game. It is like a mixture of Pokemon + YuGiOh + Candy Crush. The game requires us to "catch" other monsters (a dead monster will randomly drop as a card for us to use or train) and monsters somehow can evolve to a stronger version like in the Pokemon games. There are two types of skills per card and the player is actually called a summoner like in YuGiOh. The breaking runestones part is like breaking candies in Candy Crush (different mechanics though). All you need to do is just login everyday to claim a diamond (daily!) and acquiring 5 diamonds allow you to draw a random card, usually rare and strong cards.
Currently, I have a decent water team and I am already going to finish the 4th seal. Summoner level : 89. Elizabeth as a leader as well as my friend's ally. Stay tuned for my progress muahaha :P

Here I Am !
I am back. After a year. Guess what ? it's my semester break. Have been looking forward for quite some time. Living in the Medical World can be so hectic and I should utilize this time off properly. My next semester will begin on earlier September and yeah, I am so not looking forward to it. New semester, new college too.
From now onwards, medical students (regardless pre-clinical or clinical) of UKM will have their classes in Cheras. No more KL life, no more Times Square, no more Pavillion, no more Low Yat Redbox, no more monorail. Everything is in the hospital now (or at least nearby the hospital). More time to study I guess :P Back to my holidays now. Kerja aku tido je. Seriously. I never love sleeping so much until I came to UKM. 2 hours gap between classes ? option : (a) sleep, (b) sleep, (c) sleep, and the list goes on. Gravity has never been stronger. Pillow has never been comfier. Ah I love my life so much now.
Not that I hate studying. I like studying medicine actually. The syllabus. The practicals. They are so interesting. I have made the right choice. Yeah. I think so.
So my resolution for this holiday ? To make use of the time given to recuperate and to hang out with my best friends. oh, not to mention my family members too :P Results for my 2nd semester year 1 is coming out in a few days and yeah, that will be discussed in one of my future posts (hopefully !)
